Hi all,

I found this yesterday in the yard. It appears to be an old bullet. Can anyone confirm or add any information about it.
I dont have calipers but the rough size is 23mm long and 11mm diameter.

Cheers

This one looks modern. Looks like a copper jacket, old ones are usually just lead and turn white from being in the soil. Also usually did not have heavy rifling makes like this one.

My two cents worth.

no gas rings like older"all lead" bullets --copper jacketing is typical of more modern bullet design ---

Hi all, thanks for the replies. The thing is white and is made on what looks like lead, not copper :icon_scratch:. There are seven rifling marks on it.

Looks like a lead 40cal round. The same kinda round I carry on duty in my glock.
