old car mascot?? help!

Hi all, would be so grateful if someone could help shed some light on this,whilst digging in the garden found this piece of metal...and I just dont know what it is! could it be a car mascot/hood ornament?thanks in advance for your help!

Definitely not a hood ornament. Not knowing its size is tough. I don't think it is a gate topper. I am liking the kitchen appliance topper. These were used frequently in the kitchen to add some bling to the countertop. They could have been used anywhere in the house.
