Old, closed, swimming beaches in Illinois & Indiana

I am searching for old public swimming areas in lakes in Illinois & Indiana that have been CLOSED up, for some reason, over the years. I like to wade into these areas with wetsuit, metal detector, and a coin/jewelry dredge to retrieve items lost by swimmers. If anyone can suggest such areas, please send me a private e-mail with the info. and I would appreciate it, very much.

I have 2 beach's in IN that I am going to be hunting this spring. One has been closed for years. The other is still open, but I have permission to hunt. It has a diving platform about 25 yards out which is the main area I am going to concentrate.
