Old coin found in Germany

Hello everyone I wondered if anyone could tell me what these coins are worth and if possible some history about it.

they are worth as much as a person will give you and as little as you will take for them (when those two "prices" match --that what their worth t that time and place ) -- to me finding old roman / holy roman empire type coins of that type --they would be near priceless ...

Thanks Ivan for ur thoughts but I need to knows their origin. I looked all around even took them to a museum and nothing has come back. That is way I post them her to see if anybody have some ideas.

Not a lot of help Ivan. Take them to a reputable coin dealer and get their opinion. They kind of look new to me. They may be a modern reproduction. Good luck.

Daryn I found them close to Hardenburg ruins in Germany it is original I just don't know their story.

IMO the coins are either replicas of souvenir tourist coins.
They are all of the same consistency and appears 'flat' with little depth or contract.
Also, the lack of any legend on the coins to the right add to the 'red flag' impression.
The MMIV on the 'coins' to the left might even suggest 2004.
Have you checked out the metallic composition of the 'silver' coins?

Thanks Mack I will look. What make you suggest 2004 was their something during that time or just ur assumption. I will take them to a coin shop here at K-Town to conform ur thoughts. Around the area I found those coins I had found other like 1875, 1795 and others but these look much older that is way I am curious about them. But like u said I cold be wrong. I will let u know once I double check. Thanks once again.

I think what you've found, unfortunately, are metal detecting related tokens parodying ancient coins, possibly from a rally. The design on the reverse looks to me to be a crossed metal detector and shovel and as Mackaydon points out the MMIV in the design probably represents 2004 in Roman numerals. The emperor on the obverse looks like he might be holding a metal detector and wearing headphones too.

M is roman for 1000///two MM is 2000.... IV is 4 (* V is 5 and with a I before it means 1 less )--- so MMIV means 2004 (and if it was MMVI --it would be 2006 )...in roman numbers ..likely their "token" replica coins from a "seeded" metal detector club hunt done in 2004 or 2006 ..or a horrible prank pulled on you by some jerk...the 2004/2006 roman numbers dating along with a shovel and "detector" within a shield ... means nope its not old ...

the face side does have a sort of byzantine / holy roman empire 1000 ish era type coin look to it however ...still a "fun" find if not a high value one..

Thats exactly my thought. Style is byzantine/medieval Denarii. Someone put a lot of work in these! I know replicas are made for detecting ralleys/contest. Even Celtic Staters are made. Less obvious than these here with the date, detector, spade and headphones...., the Stater were more close copies of the real thing.
I still say: Cool finds!
