Detector(s) used
Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore mostly or oversized coil on equinox.
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
That green thing in two pieces I have no id on yet. Both parts were in same hole. Went back to where I dug a matron head large cent, a token and 1911 wheaty. My detecting buds friends go there before I could get back but they missed this stuff. Maybe I should go in the water because I'll bet they didn't.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice! The copper bits look like two halves of a large snap. Maybe off of a canvas sail cover? The Steel spring inside the larger half probably rusted away...

Pretty cool finds yep hit the water too Good luck and good job

Congrats on the Silver Roosevelt Dime! :icon_thumleft:

This is better picture of the two piece copper thing. Very thin and very green. 1st silver rosey actually. Already have a 1923 mercury dime. So guess I need a barber dime now. Apparently the S is the south from a weather vane.
