I pulled this out of a yard with a home dating back to the mid 1800's. My first thought was that it resembles a modern day wedding band. It's flat on the inside, with a slight curve on the outside, much like one. There is a destinctive solder mark that was used to fuse it together. For all I know it could be just a typical copper fitting. Any thoughts?
