Old costume jewelry

While hunting a bull dozed house lot in mason ohio with my whites xl pro I found a couple artifacts.The stone or glass is purple and cut like a diamond.The undated nickle was found near the costume jewelry.Any information about this piece would be greatly appreciated.Thanks and good luck hunting.

Art deco era pin or broach. 1920's to 1930's. Probably brass, with a real or glass amethyst stone. Is there a pin or broken mount on back?
