I just learned that Tabdog had passed away. He was the vice president of the AR Treasure Hunters club. He hadn't posted on T-net in a number of years though.
Back in 2009 and not long after I lost my wife I read some of Tabdog's posts and pictures and it inspired me to get back into detecting, and soon I met with the club and hunted with them for the first time. Since, I have been getting more into detecting, mostly on my own.
I was out today thinking about some of his posts and pictures on my way back from a hunt and then I learned the news. I didn't know him too well, but I will miss him. Reminds me that we only have a fleeting moment in this world and we all will move on to better detecting grounds one day.
