Well...I went back to the same fairgrounds on Friday that I dug the 1880 injun on Thursday. Ended up getting another 13 coins, 5 of which were good finds. I managed a 36 and 57D Wheat Penny. Also got 3 more Indians, one of them a key date. All three were about 4-5 inches deep in trashy areas. the dates were 1867, 1889, and 1905. I only detected for 2.5 hours. Not bad for a short hunt. Very good for a short hunt. Congrats on the IH's! Cool! Would like to see some pics.
I haven't found an IH yet, funny thing, after seeing so many pics, ENLARGED, I'm afraid
when I find one, I'll be disappointed by how small they are.

Good luck,
HH.

Great hunt! Congrats!

Great score on the Indian's DeerHunter

Most of them are filled with crud. I got enough to see the date on them, but the 1905 is the only one that would come up nice on a pic. The 1867 has to be rotated in the light to see the date. Pics prob wouldn't look that great, but I'll scan them and see what they look like.

Nice finds, can't wait to see the picture

WTG, your getting me worked up to get back out!!!
