Went metal detecting at an old field in the woods close to a couple old house sites. I'm pretty sure there was a barn in the area too because of the abundance of iron objects I keep digging. So far I have found a 1919 and 1925 wheat penny, horseshoe, a rusted out padlock and a chrome "Gem" safety razor patented 1912. I also found some unusal shaped object that I can not identify. It's fairly heavy, but not magnetic. I'm going to continue to hit this site and hopefully pull out more coins, maybe silver!
