It is a coil-contact from a Model-T Ford. See photo below. I give our fellow What-Is-It forum-member Creskol the original credit for the ID, because he provided the complete coil photo long ago in another relic-forum on the internet.

I've been told the person that lived in the location owned a Model T. That is a great contacting back to the info that I had.
