Old Gas Light Fixture

Out hunting around an old home site in the woods, didn't find too much, an old axe head down pretty deep, very rusted... then found this really oRnate gas pipe with valve.. first thought it was from an old stove then figured it was something to do with old residential gas lights... it was. This was a neat piece to find. Let me know what you think, or if you know anything else about it. I figure it would be from around 1900.

I grew up in an old 2-story home built in 1909. it still had some of the original gas lighting fixtures in place. yours looks very similar. cool find!
