Old Golden Ring

This is a ring my grandmother gave me. She told me she bought it from an old lady years ago (it must be really old) . Anyways, do you guys have any idea what it may be worth? It has tested as gold and weighs in at 21.2 grams. Also, for some odd reason there are no markings whatsoever.

In the old days, gold rings were most likely 14K. IF it were 14K, the "melt" value would be $697.80 with gold being at $1755/oz. Go to a jeweler and have the jeweler test it.

It is possible that the design itself is the artists signature. That said it would require a lot of research.... It is a very cool ring and looks like a knot of sorts, maybe a love knot. Sorry, don't know any more info.
