Being a 1920's golf course I would of thought you'd of found older... being that golf and metal detecting are my 2 favorite things I'd be all over that place... nice silvers... good video! keep it up!

The grass was 10" tall in many of the old areas which made it pretty impossible to detect. We're going to have to wait for old man winter to knock some of it down. We're definitely going back. Thanks!

I liked your video- and I appreciate you filming your cut into the hole. I find it hard to flip the "U" over without reaking havoc. In comparison to yours, I'm not far off but I could be better.

Thanks! It's been extremely dry here this year. The ground is like concrete and doing the "U" cut is impossible in most places. Some people complain about seeing bad holes dug, but sometimes it just can't be helped. Fortunately the owner doesn't mind at this site as it will be bulldozed soon anyway. Next time I'll be taking a shovel.
