Old Gun part.....or Cap gun!

Just cleaned this up in my tumbler and saw the scrolling. Looks like a pistol part of some kind....maybe toy, but I don't know. Anyone have an idea?

It has the looks of pot metal,and if it is, it is off of a cap gun.

I worked in a gun factory, we made muzzle loader rifles. This looks like a Hammer on a Flintlock rifle.

Looks like a piece off an old Daisy six shooter cap gun

No scroll work on my daisy six shooter. I highlighted the word Daisy, other than that the gun is original color after cleaning, and it does still pop those caps!..... Not GE

Not GE, now THAT is a cool cap gun! And still works to boot!
