Old house

Went back to my old house this morning. I know there HAS to be a few old coins there but they are sure eluding me! I ended up with a key (broken), another old toy car (really messed up) one penny (clad) and lots of junk metal. Sorry, no pictures this time. I took my daughter with me - her first time out and she found one penny also (clad). Oh well. She claims she saw someone looking out of one of the windows and we didn't go near the house. It has been chilly so someone is probably sleeping in the house.

Oh well mumzie, if you keep at it you'll eventually come across an old one there!

Don't feel bad. I just got permission to detect a 1911 house, which should have been virgin ground according to the owner. Total take after three hour long hunts? .30 cents in clad. Well, I did find a sterling silver fork, but no old coinage. But keep at it!
