At the moment this is the only option I know for a solo hunt. I gridded the better area for 3 hours & then walked around for the last hour looking for a good spot. Never really found one...
Although last visit I had 0 Roman Coins.

3 Roman Coins
3 Lead Tokens
Roman Nail
Will III Shilling (near blank)
Broken Tudor Buckle (Spectacle)
The Arm to a Medieval Locking Buckle
Sword Belt Fitment
Mystery Musket Ball looking thing but it has spiral ribs???
Best Find - Lead (mostly) 1788-1800 Queens Own IV Dragoons Button

Couple of silvers ... not too bad really ! (I'm guessing the broken thimble is silver )

Great hunt man!

Great job for old grounds.

Great finds Cru. It's near impossible for us to find British silver over here. Would love to snag one one day.

The lead button, the weird lead ball (i don't think it's a musket ball with that ribs), an extreme offset roman coin and the fat nail. Not bad i say.

For that field, I was happy, but look at today!
