Hi !

I have this old looking Inca type of pendant,
I got it ridiculously cheap some 15 years ago from a flee market,
but never gave it much thought.

But my new 'bf', who is from Peru says it's an very old Inca pendant
at least 100 years old and could even be somewhat valuable.

It has some kind of markings on it, but it's impossible to see what it is.

Any idea anyone ! ???

The thing with jewelry like this is that although it does look like it is 500 years old, there are literally vendors everywhere around Teotihuacan that sell jewelry and artifacts that look extremely authentic to the tourists. They sell it in the styles of the Toltecs, Mixtecs, Zapotecs, Olmecs, Aztecs and Mayans.

I hope yours turns out to be an authentic period piece. If you find out it is a repro and ever want to sell it, let me know ;)

Has some Tairona style to it, but they never hollow cast their tumbarga like that.
