I found this at a place I have hunted before. I love the old brass plates. It reads aluminum lightning arrester, alternating current, general electric co, Schenectady New York USA. Pat date is 1911.
The necklace has some gold plates on it, and is interesting. It is surprising the ground is not frozen here. We are due for a storm tomorrow. Lots and lots of close lightning in the spring. I saw it strike 2 houses away and it started a fire right up the street. I am hoping always for a rainy spring. 2018 will be a great year for detecting! Here's a nice pic walking the dogs this am!
Happy hunting!!!
