Old maps

Tex.... looks like it could be interesting..... BUT.... ( there's always that but )
It could be an old map of the area around the quaban which flooded about 7 towns when they built it, and you can't detect there, and all that area is underwater now.... or it could be an old map of areas off limits now.... so I would have to know allot more about the exact area the map covers before I would go spending money on it for detecting purposes.... just my thoughts.....
 

Well since Im the seller just log on to ebay and ask for more pictures. There is a lot of old towns surronding the area that are not under water and it has a some reffrence maps But I dont think the book it self is much help to anyone any more.
I wish i had a map like this for my area.
I'm not trying to be a saleman here but it is a good tool to have if you live there, And I'd rather see someone get it who can use it, especially a fellow treasure hunter.
 

I hear ya .... I didn't mean any disrespect.... I was just trying to point out that there are a number of old maps floating around that aren't of any "practical" use today because the area they cover isn't there any more... BUT... to a collector, or historian, they would be great to have....
