Having a great time learning about the past while making some cool discoveries in the area. Found this medal today while hunting a lot which had a home built in 1900 at one time. After searching the internet I discovered it was a masonic medal from Knoxville. The words read, "coeur de lion comdry No. 9 KT" and "cyprus comdry No 23 KT" While searching Google directed me to a roll of leadership from 1906. Not sure if this is the date of this item but the date fits.
If anyone has any additional information, I would love to hear what you think.
It is not marked, but it feels heavy enough to be gold. I believe it is brass. I really don't care... it going into the cool things I have found display case.
Thanks for looking.
