Old mining pick

Posted this in today's finds a few days ago but maybe this category is best for id.old pick head with some markings .wondering if anyone can identify the maker.i know one of the words is works.and there is some kind of stamp mark and possibly some scratched in initials.

The symbol looks kinda the Weirhauser logging company mark ?

To me it looks the Initials look like JB and the stamp is ........TOOLWORKS PITSBURGH

That's cool! Yhe company trademark was registered 9/1/1896.

Pretty cool looking, checked them out online, looks very cool all cleaned up, saw just the head listed at 250.

Cool thanks guys.found this halfway between the cabin site and the tunnel they worked.very remote area.lots of cool things coming from the area.if the initials are jb someone has there j backwards.
