✅ SOLVED Old Musical Instrument : Whst did I just buy?

Impulse buy from the Marketplace. In the pic, I thought they were bed warmers or fireplace pans.
But when I get to the location, I see they are / were string instruments. Bowl may be a paper material.
Any thoughts?
(I paid $40 for the pair and a wagon wheel)

That is an african lute, called "Kora".
Good luck fretting it with all 21 cords :-)!
