Old padlock

Good morning!

Yesterday I found a old padlock in a forrest near Warsaw.
Is there anybody who can tell me more about this lock? What is it’s age etc.?

Conimus, very nice Old lock. Your lock looks like one I Dug a while back. Mine was dated to the Civil War period. I did some research and found that the small key hole cover (brass) that if it was found to be stamped US, that this would date it to the war years 1861-1865. Mine was found to be barely visible. Your lock looks very close. Great find.
