Hello everyone, There is an old park area here in town about half a block in size where I noticed the city was doing some work the other day. For some reason, they dug out 4 areas about 10' by 10' by about 10 inches deep. I really didn't expect to find much figuring most it would've got removed. Turns out the ring was 5" down, the wheat 4", and the button 2". Had the dirt been there, I'm positive I wouldn't have gotten any of them. Makes me wonder how much good stuff is still down there. Looking forward to meeting many of you at the relic hunt in Oct. Thanks again to JD for offering a look back at history to us. Take care, Eric

Cool finds :) Is the ring a seal stamp ring used for wax seals? Not sure where you are in KS but have you ever heard of Toto's Tacos? It by the wizard of Oz museum.

Wizard of Oz museum in Kansas (seems obvious, I know), my wife collects all that stuff. If she sees this, she'll want to go...... ;D

Sorry, back on subject, nice digs there, keep on diggin'
