✅ SOLVED Old Pepsi-Cola sign

Found this in an old trash pile. It measures 9 in. X 2 1/2 in. Probably made of tin? According to the Pepsi Logo site this logo was used between 1906-1939. It is small so it probably was attached to something? Any ideas?

I note that it doesn't have holes to mount it, so perhaps part of a 6-pack carrier; Tin Pepsi Cola Embossed 6 Pack Carrier from aislinneantiques on Ruby Lane
If it were, this type would have originally wrapped around with tabs on the ends. Does it look like it might have been trimmed on the ends?

What further leads me to believe that this was the application is that the embossed line above and below the logo seems to diminish toward the ends, making it easier to wrap around to the sides.
Otherwise I might have guessed that it might have been framed with a mirror beneath or something similar.

You may be able to date this a little closer because it has the double hyphen between Pepsi and Cola.
