What further leads me to believe that this was the application is that the embossed line above and below the logo seems to diminish toward the ends, making it easier to wrap around to the sides.
Otherwise I might have guessed that it might have been framed with a mirror beneath or something similar.

nhbenz, It does have wrap around tabs, but they have been flattened.

You may be able to date this a little closer because it has the double hyphen between Pepsi and Cola.
