i was driving around the historic part of town and saw this old looking house so i stopped and knock on the door and nice lady answered and gave the go ahead , went after work for an 1hr or so , i found 7 wheatys and just small part of the yd. i found the best looking WW1 collar disc button ever. 20170911_185255.webp20170911_185302.webp20170911_202230.webp

It isn't easy, but it does get easier. Just remember that any shot you don't take is a miss. And try to avoid answering "no" for the owner... just because you think the yard is too nice, or the house too fancy or whatever... give the owner a chance to say "no"... don't do it for him.

This is kind of funny, but something that I'll bet a lot of you guys will relate to. Sometimes when I'm driving around an old neighborhood, dreaming of getting permission to hunt, I find that it reminds me so much of shy adolescent me, roaming the floors at a teenage dance. That girl is too pretty... this one too plain... the one over there is known to be stuck up and would never dance with me... and so on. Very easy to go home without a single dance.
