Old Philco radio

I grabbed this one last weekend pretty cheap. It powers up but no sound. I like it myself, and I know I could refinish the wooden cabinet myself, but I don't know the first thing about restoring the electricals. I believe it's a 1934 early version model 59C. Does anyone know anything at all about these? Are they worth trying to restore or resell for restoration or for parts? Thanks in advance!

Inside is more interesting then the front. Why redo it. Clean it up a bit and keep it the way you bought it. Nice find.
