Old powder flask

Eyeballed this today....looks top be half of a powder flask that was utilized for something else. Someone fancied it apparently. The top was cut off and a hole punched in it.

Nice find.
The top was not cut off. That is the way it was made and the top portion is missing.

Two I have found.

I guess I need to see what the hole was for.
