Still searching for that all elusive silver half dollar!
Got out a couple hours on Sunday with the Bounty Hunter.. managed to get a little clad and some trinkets. Pretty slow.
However, I was walking back to my truck thru an area I didn't think to hunt and I'm doing the high speed swing and get a overload on this old lid.. almost threw it away, thinking it was newer trash. Kinda cool; it's the first Glass Mason jar lid I've found.
Strange that it was there and only 2 or 3 inches below the surface. I'll have to hit that spot specially and see what I can dig up. This is the first old thing I've found in this park; most coins are 70's with the oldest penny being 66' I think.
The lid says "Boyd's Genuine Porcelain Lined Cap". With a 2 in the middle.
