Old Ring Found On Beach

Did a short hunt this morning on my local beach(Oak Island NC), One ring, about 10 pounds of fishing weights, 36 cents in clad and other things.



I want to say this ring is very old, its tarnished pretty bad. The beach I was at has lost a lot of its sand this year, down to its old sand. So what you think about this ring? I know its silver..




Lots of fishing weights and clad coins.


Everything and the trash.

Nice ring ! Garnet I would guess- Don't want to be a Debbie downer , but I believe the ring is relatively modern ( 40 or 50 years) probably Bali or India . Could you clean it up , so we can get a better look at it ?

oh ...ive found a couple similar - one had an amethyst the other had a cut piece of mother of pearl
they came out in about the same shape
