So I went out detecting this morning for a while. Dug a 1936 wheat penny, a Military button and this old ring. I could tell the ring was made of brass and that it had writing on it. So I took it home and cleaned it off. I put it under the microscope and this is what it said. And I quote, "If you can't read this then you are to Darn Old." I looked around to see if anyone saw me giggle. Even folks in the 30's had jokes.
