Whats the design on the top ? 
Any hallmarks, unless its really rare or historically significant or a collectors item. 
Its not going to worth a whole lot cause its a copper ring... 
Most copper rings are not worth anything, but I think you could have something maybe collectible or historical. 
We need to see the top and look for hallmarks.
