Old rock that belonged to my father.

Trying to ID this rock. It belonged to my dad and was handed down after he died. It was originally whole and was cut in half. We only have one half.

Trying to ID this rock. It belonged to my dad and was handed down after he died. It was originally whole and was cut in half. We only have one half.

Its very heavy for its size. If it were whole, it would be slightly larger than a grapefruit. I would guess that the half piece weighs about 8-10lbs.
