Old rope

Hi all
I am looking for information on old rope, both native indian and old sailing ship ropes.
I have pictures of different and could use id on styles and types.

I don't have much information on different types of ship's lines (ropes), other than a copy of a Master's thesis from TAMU from 2007:
" LA BELLE: RIGGING IN THE DAYS OF THE SPRITSAIL TOPMAST,A RECONSTRUCTION OF A SEVENTEENTH-CENTURY SHIP’S RIG

pp 57-64 might be of some help to you. Interesting stuff for those trying to identify pieces of ship's rigging as well.
