Very small caliber. Crudely cast. I shoot traditional Black Powder Muzzle loading guns and with that pronounced seam I would never load it in a rifle or pistol. I also shoot Black Powder Shotguns. I cast my own round balls and that casting is very crude. In a muzzle loading shotgun the sloppy casting would not make a difference. I'm guessing that due to the small caliber and sloppy casting that you found shot that was hand made and shot from a Black Powder Muzzle Loading Shotgun.
