Old School Yields A Little Silver

I returned to the old school (new sidewalk install) where I found the two Rosies on Sunday. I went back to the area I had searched three times the day before. I turned the AT Pro on... took one step.. and the machine started acting funny... high tone...solid 84 on the screen...wait a minute...no way. I dug a hole and out popped a '37 Merc. I was there 3 minutes and had a Merc in my hand. I searched a little more, but only found one '79 penny.

I know that I am only supposed to rinse the silver off, but as a hotrod guy, I just can't resist polishing the little rascals!

That is silver #6 for the year... all found in April.
Thanks for looking.

Sweet merc. They sure do shine up nice, congrats.

I like them shiny too. Great pics.

Nice find. It only goes to show that you can't go over an area to many times.

Great find! Charlotte has been hunted pretty hard and it is getting difficult to get over silver unless you are in a yard.

Really nice find at that spot. I know where your talking about and to get a silver there is a find Congrats on the 37'. JR

Nice silver. I usually don't find my find first. For me its always walking to the car to leave.

Check the date first, if its not a key date, polish the heck out of it, I'm jealous!
