I'd like to know if there is any value in old sheet music, a number of years ago I did some dumpster diving at an old house that was being cleared out, and in an old wicker picnic basket there were a whole bunch of similar items, though somewhat abused by mice.
I would guess as with most paper items, 'condition' 'condition' 'condition' rules the question of value, but is there anyone collecting such things?

Is the sheet music dated...most circa WWI sheet music commonly sells for a few dollars, condition and image artist is also contingent of value...earlier say civil war years sheet music could bring a fortune...
