Hello All. I found this over the weekend at an a modern home site near the center of an old small town. It is all brass, so it precedes the paper shell era, I guess. It is unfired so it may have been hull ready for reloading. Found some other 1900's vintage stuff nearby so I am thinking it may be late 1800's.

LMK if you have a bead on this, thanks for the view, and good luck out there. C9

Hey C9!

Cannot give you any more info on this one. Winchester did not change the headstamp on the all brass shells. The best was to "attribute" a tighter date is to date any other items found in the area. I do like the fact that the primer is not fired! Great find!
