Went out with a few of the guys yesterday and everyone found silver. Always makes for a great day. I was lucky and had the most finds with 4, but everyone was happy. Also found a neat engraved bell and a NY Worlds Fair token celebrating the 150th anniversary of George Washington's inauguration. Also came up with a bunch of wheaties and a Buffalo (nickel that is)

It sure is Argentium. Golf course going back to the 20's. So far more than 75 pieces of silver including 3 nice SLQ's (including one 1920 near mint and my best in 35 years detecting), 2 Barber halves, a Walker, a number of Barber dimes and quarters and a load of mercs. I pulled 2 silver Washingtons, a merc and 3 buffalos out of one hole. Although we worked what appear to be the main spots heavily, there is still a lot more area to detect.

awesome silver day!
