Old Table, Tremendous History

I work for a Museum in SC. Here is a pic of one of our artifacts. It's an old wooden table, not in the best condition, but it is one of the most significant historical pieces in the state. Who can guess why?!

No takers?! Alrighty...the South Carolina article of Secession was drafted & signed upon this table on Dec 20th, 1860. It was owned by Benjamin F Arthur, the clerk of the Secession Convention and Governor Gist's personal secretary!
 

Great story behind that piece of history! So much history in this great state of SC!
