I found this tooth deep in the hills of Golden, Colorado today in an old creek bed with my Garret AT Gold. If you have any knowledge about old teeth I would greatly appreciate a comment or even if you have thoughts I would be greatful. Photos should be attached, this is my first post. I hope I did it right. I added a couple more pictures. It looks like inside still has bone in it and the nerve line. The bottom tip looks as if it has the indentation of a tooth.?
But I am not 100%. Just looks like a front capped tooth.
Thanks for your input.

The inside looks like bone though and the nerve going down it?
Thanks for comment I will look at it more, do you know what kind of bullet it would be?

I moved this from Today's Finds! over to Forum: What Is It? for more exposure...

Okay, thank you. I am hoping someone here knows what this thing is if not a front tooth cap.

In the first. third and fourth picture you can see the cannelure (sp) so it's a bullet for sure...d2

Okay, I do see that cannelure band on it, just in that odd shape and looks like bone in it. I will go with what the pros are saying for sure.
Any way I can date this with no primer stamp ?

I will clean it up really good and see what I can find. Should I scrub it with vinegar or what's the best way to clean your relics. I was meaning to build an eloctrolisis vat but never got around to it.
Thanks again

I think what you think is bone is white lead & being a copper-jacketed bullet, its safe to say its not 19th C but later. Even a bullet specialist would need precise sizes to make an educated guess.

Sadly no real way to date it, it smacked something pretty hard and getting the original caliber would be a pretty difficult task. If I was to make a wild guess I'd say maybe .32 short, early to mid 20th Century....
