old tractor part?

it is thick heavy iron about as big around about as big around as a soda can top it was heavily rusted until I cleaned it up some but not completely yet. Was thinking possibly an old tractor part . Found on old homestead where an antabellum used to be. Thanks

Awesome thanks. My only reservation on that is the hole is not centered its slightly of and one side is thicker than the other. Maybe just years in the ground have been rough on it.
