Old whistle

I let Vanoldschool talk me into driving over for a hunt on sunday and here's what I found. 2 wheaties 54' and 51'. Little silver ring and gold pin. I'm not sure if the handle is from a brush or mirror but it is really detailed so probably a mirror. The whistle is a WWII Regulation US Army solid brass. Part of the ball is still inside but it doesn't work. I love finding stuff like that, lots of history behind it. Thanks for looking.
