older bullet id please

hello everyone went out today and got my first older bullet, is there anyone that can tell me the era it may be from i know its not real old but did come from from about a 100 year old home place thank you for any imput its about 3/8 at base and dont know if its relevant or now but about 1/2 in long

These were my grandfathers . I was wondering about where they might have come from area wise my grandfather traveled the US for years

I have had them for about 20 years now they were the reason I started hunting myself

Possibly a .38 S&W (precursor to the .38 Special).
