Older House Permission Produces Cool Relics, Silver and a little Gold!

Got a permission for an older house in my neighborhood. Kind of overrun with sagebrush and junk, but the site has had 4 houses on it since 1872. The previous houses all burnt down. It looks like the layer I'm into is from 1910-1920 from the relics I found. I spent about 3 hours with the Simplex and the small coil and covered an area about 8 feet square. There was no way to zero in on anything without clearing A LOT of iron, so I took my time and got much of it out of the way. Check out the pile of iron in the pic.
The little brooch is 14k and the silver handle thing with initials is sterling. My favorite finds were the little Acme bottle and the skeleton key. I'm going to get some of the iron stuff into the electrolysis tank and I'll add pics when done. The little sad iron is a new one on me, didn't know they made them so small. I used electrolysis on the 'Shupe Williams Co.' piece just so I could read the name. It turns out to be a candy company. Must have been some fancy candy to have an embossed thing like this as part of the packaging. The little iron 3-legged bowl thing is odd too, no idea what that would be for.

Pretty cool finds! I like the monogrammed piece…might give a clue as to former resident! You found a lot of neat things in a small area. Looks like a good hunting spot! Enjoy.

Okay, I got another hour in there today before my Dr. appointment and FINALLY a coin!
It's a 1920 buffalo. Spotted a couple of bottle stoppers and glass beads as well.
