The bug has been getting to me so I had to give it another shot today.Kinda rainy on & off but I hammered through it & made some better finds today.Three sites I touched on with some cool finds.I really am digging the cool ass pewter button I found today even though it's in rough shape I'll give her a coat to wear & mark it down as a first of it's kind in my collection.The signs were good & will need some better going over when I get another chance.The big brass P is kinda strange not sure about it myself?Anyway enjoy another get out for me.

I have a letter "B" that looks to be nearly the same style and Creskol kindly responded with: "Your letter B is harness decoration, specifically off of a hames cover similar to this one in my collection". There's a good chance that the folks that lived later on at your site would have had the letter "P" somewhere in their name.

I'm a thinking the one item is a cannon vent primming pick.Kinda had it on my mine & believe it may be after looking into it.

Yeap its a cufflink. But I'm not convinced about the claims (no proof has surfaced) about it being the Restoration of Charles II (1660). I believe these are 18th C like all the others with the same manufacturing techniques.

I don't get many of these, & when I do they are mostly in copper-alloy, I'm not sure I've had a pewter version yet, so I would be happy with it as well.

Thanks CMD,funny you said that,my wife finally went out with me again the hunt before this one & got eat up with RED BUGS some how I never got a one but boy she was covered with the little Bast$#@! I guess it will be awhile again before I can get her to go again.She likes the fishing deal now & days so I can get her out on them trips at least.Man you have yourself a good remaining summer too & mabe fall will be good to ya.

Nice forged nail. Those are my favorites to find. The time it took a blacksmith to make just one nail a machine can pump out 100. Nice finds.
