I hit the 1860's farm house for an hour and a half on Sunday. Came away with a couple keepers. The ring is copper and engraved. The other is some kind of hair clip or clothing decor. Still has some material in it. Kind of cool to have some material on it that is 100 plus years old. The tootsie toy is a "Jeep Truck"
HH,and I hope you find what your looking for!

Excellent finds, congrats......

Nice finds,

Old relics for sure. Could that be hair in that clip. Come on it's not ready to stop hunting yet.

HH Jer

Could that be hair on or in the little lady thing. Back in the day people used to keep locks of hair from a loved one?? Just a guess.

cool ring! I bet you were shocked when that came out of the ground!

Thanks for your replies!
That is definately material, and not hair. I think it must be off of a headband of some sort. The way it is,there is really no way to hook it directly to the hair.
