It was a good 45 minutes.The water was to high,it was to windy and to top it off the water also looked like mirror.Tough hunting conditions the sun was not working with me today at all.I couldn't see the bottom of the creek bed but I know there is one laid in there and I will be back soon Dan Capps aka ShowmeMoflint

Damn...I really hate you guys and gals!!!LOL I only find plain black or grey stone here in WV and PA. Seriously...Great find and I hope they keep coming for you!

nice creek find,I've yet to be able to find a point in a creek.have one creek that i can hunt runs threw plowed Fields then into the river even has a mound that's been plowed over many times 75yards from the creek can find plenty of points in the Fields but not that creek i have to be missing something.

JMFG - if the creek is not clear and no more than waist deep, try probing with a stainless steel rod. When you feel flint, use a shovel and a screen and you'll be surprised what can come up.
