Hi guys, The weather has felt like spring this week. So I decided to go out today for a little while back to the same spot I found last week. As soon as I got there I dug a 1918 mercury dime. I knew it was going to be a good day. I am going back tomorrow to dig some more trash and see what else is left. Haven't had a 4 silver day in awhile. Hunted for about 2 hours today. Going back tomorrow I'll let you know how it goes.

Good Luck Jer

Very nice finds! The 1913 wheat have a mint mark? The 1913s i think is about $10.00 in good condition. Though i haven't checked in awhile. WTG! HH

Thanks Rvbvetter, No mint mark though. I found hundreds of wheats and never get mint marks on them. Guess I'm too far away living in p.a. And with the mint here they are very abundant.

Good Luck Jeremy

I am trying to figure out what those wings are? Is that a crossed pair of artillery canons on them? They look very old to me.

Very good finds. You had a great, not good, day.

Yes, the wings look like an old military item to me, also.

Great finds! The wings look like they have crossed Anchors in the middle. Navy maybe? HH!

Thanks alot everyone. I knew you guys would see that pin I found. I think it is military also. It's an eagle with it's wings spread open. The back has 2 little hooks. It has this blue enameling on it that has 2 crossed anchors on it. Then in the middle of them it says u.s. Don't know what type of award it is though. Maybe one of you guys will know with some of the info that I provided.

Thanks again HH Jeremy.
